Free People

Have you ever felt free because of a dramatic change in your life??? Free as in happiness,  comfort, laughter, encouragement, love, and well yeah the list could go on forever. Well, in all do respect I've been quite a soaring little eagle lately and free is where I want to be...

Femininity

Ooooohh!! I think that sheer fabrics are on the rise but make sure that they are done in a tasteful and classy manner! You don't want to be judged for revealing your secret treasures in a trashy low-class way. So here is a little tip......When going bare on the top portion of your body keep it modest on the bottom portion and vice versa.

Here, I use a slight and relaxed volume on the top portion of my body using this blouse and for the bottom portion I used this vintage skirt but the underlay is an American Apparel bright pink pair of tights for more of a soft, feminine, and pleasant look to unfold.....

Feed Me Fruit

When you look like a piece of exotic fruit you could probably taste like one as well lol! .....Any who! I felt a little like a Bahama Mama. Sheer fabrics rule this season so these see-through pants made one wonder... well there isn't too much too wonder about when there are tights underneath heheheeee!!! LOL!

Afro-centric

Suprisingly, this dress has been sitting in my closet for over 6 months and I've finally gotten around to wearing it. As you can see, the more afro-centric side of me surfaces this day with intense earth-tone colors in it's extremity. This dress is most likely from the 80's with volume in the sleeves and in the lower half the dress. Almost everything in the 80's was worked around volume, oversizing, intense colors, and geometry.

These Deena and Ozzy wedge shoes also involve geometry with the center of the wedge including an open triangle. They look very intense but I must admit that these are one of the most comfortable pair of wedges that I own....Now that I think about it, I think I say that about all of my shoes....

Leather backpacks or backpacks in general seem to be one of the most popular things to have when it comes to putting or stuffing your personal belongings in them...So if you spot one that catches your eye, claim it instantly!!!

Tribal Influenced

It was burning up, hot, and heated on this day so to avoid clothing fusing to my body I decided to go for lose and draped fabrics but turn up the intensity with the colors. These 100% silk pants from Diane Von Furstenberg were electrifying in color giving this outfit a stunning appearance. As for the  Marc Jacobs shoes, I think that I want to own everything that man manufactures. I'm truly a Marc Jacobs supporter....

Florida Ready

Well what can I say? I guess I'm tied to Florida in this ensemble. Florals, pastels, lightweight fabrics are what this beauty loves....Oh! and let's not forget that sexy, sultry, hot, weather....Yessssss.

Angelica

Oh how I love this dress... This dress from Freepeople became the love of my life...or almost the love of my life when I laid eyes on this. With the bell sleeves making a come back into the fashion scene I thought that this would be the perfect example for an ultimate advantage to add this to my wardrobe....

P.S.

These Faryl Robin wedges were the most comfortable and sexiest shoes one could own....

The Highlight of My Day

As for this outfit, I attended one of many meetings on this day to present and discuss fashion. I always enjoy presenting at meetings especially when it involves a trend or subject that I find myself mostly drawn to.

Candid Shot

While on my break, and rushing through the streets of the city at the most busiest times of the day, I had no idea that I was being shot for my eclectic sense of style in fashion. This is not the first time I've experienced candid shots... In fact they happen all the time by random people and bloggers... This one in particular was shot by Big Rube and featured on his blog and reblogged 53 times and counting. I guess being a natural at it really pays off. Thanks Big Rube for pulling out your camera and capturing it in it's natural setting.
